Diplomatic Bestiary was completed in mid-2023. It was due to show in April 2024, then postponed to October 2024 and now postponed indefinitely due to the genocide in Palestine and the situation in Lebanon.
I decided to put a PDF of the sculptures online. This project is about how diplomatic processes to find solutions warp, mutate, and distort the people, land, and objects that are their subjects. The project, its materiality, its meaning, and how it will be perceived is also undergoing this mutation as it waits.
